Introduction 活动背景
Guided by the "3060 dual carbon goal", the inherent development mode of China's traditional manufacturing industry is undergoing a transformation. Meanwhile, with the adoption of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) by the European Union, as a global trade partner, the comprehensive implementation of carbon tariffs will inevitably restructure the global trade pattern.
As of 2022, more than 4,500 companies worldwide have joined the science-based carbon reduction target initiative, including 146 Chinese companies. Upstream companies, customers, investors, regulators and the need for companies to respond to climate change all require companies to prepare in advance, understand their own emissions baseline, and develop emission reduction targets and paths that fit their own development.
Therefore, Bureau Veritas intends to hold the Carbon Neutrality and Science-based Targets Seminar to share the latest industry trends and international requirements, and help companies scientifically reduce carbon emissions and enhance their competitiveness.
在“3060双碳目标”的指导下,中国传统制造业固有的发展模式正在发生转变。同时,随着欧盟碳边境调节机制(Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, CBAM )议案通过,作为全球贸易合作伙伴,碳关税的全面实施必将重构全球贸易格局。截至2022年,全球已有超过4500家企业加入科学碳目标倡议,其中中国已有146家企业。名单中活跃着诸多各领域知名品牌和领军企业的身影,例如宝马、丰田汽车、通用汽车、戴尔、宝洁、可口可乐等。来自上游企业、客户、投资者、监管方以及企业内在应对气候变化的需求均要求企业提前布局,了解自身排放基础、制定符合企业发展的减排目标和路径。必维拟开展本次碳中和与科学碳目标研讨会活动,分享行业最新趋势与国际要求,助力企业科学减碳,增强企业竞争力。
