Industrial IoT & AI for Predictive Maintenance: Practical perspectives from Alibaba Cloud, Kurnup & Siveco
Countless conferences are held on the topic of Industry 4.0 or Smart Manufacturing, during which Predictive Maintenance is almost invariably cited as a “low-hanging fruit”, with potential for the highest returns for relatively low investments.
However, concrete examples of customer applications are few and far between! For this special session of the CCIFC’s “Industry of the Future” Working Group, we have invited three experts to share their practical perspectives on this intriguing and elusive subject!
Alibaba Cloud’s David Dai will explore the internet giant’s technological ecosystem and an unparalleled China experience in large-scale smart solutions.
Kurpup’s Pierre Angot, a frequent speaker at industry events, will look at the role of IoT sensors in combination with AI.
Siveco’s Guillaume Gimonet will share practical experience from 15 years on the ground with technologies for maintenance improvement in China.
The three concise and to-the-point 20-min presentations will be followed by a panel discussion with Q&A. We will take this opportunity to identify topics of interest for the following sessions.

A 20-year veteran of the Chinese maintenance market, Bruno Lhopiteau (cn.linkedin.com/in/brunolhopiteau) is the founder of Siveco China, the country’s largest maintenance consultancy and a pioneer in the development of Smart O&M technologies, with a focus on mobile solutions “for the worker of tomorrow”. He also sits on the board of several companies dealing with plant and building engineering in China and lectures on Industrial Risk Management at the Sino-European School of Technology of Shanghai University
