On September 21st, 2024, the CCI FRANCE CHINE hosted its annual Beijing Gala at the prestigious Hyatt Regency Wangjing, drawing a crowd of over 600 guests, including industry leaders, entrepreneurs, diplomats, and influential figures.
This year’s Gala was a particularly special occasion, as it marked the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France. Themed "Celebrating Six Decades of Sino-French Brilliance," the evening was a testament to the enduring and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two nations. The event featured insightful speeches, spectacular shows and performances, a Lucky Draw with generous prizes, an upscale dîner à la française, and an Award Ceremony that highlighted the strong cultural and economic ties that have flourished over the past six decades.
The evening commenced with insightful speeches from prominent figures such as Rémi Paul, President of CCI FRANCE CHINE, H.E. Bertrand Lortholary, Ambassador of France to China, and LIN Shunjie, President of the China International Expo Centre. Their words emphasized the importance of Sino-French relations and the shared history of cooperation and mutual respect.
Special thanks were extended to several distinguished guests whose presence underscored the significance of the event. These included Christian Gianella, Head of the Regional Economic Service China at the Embassy; Pascal Gondrand, Director of Business France China; and Guillaume Bernard, President of the China Committee of France's Foreign Trade Advisors. Representing Chinese officials were LIU Bo, Deputy Director of the European Department, Ministry of Commerce, China (MOFCOM), and QIAN Lixia, Minister Counsellor of the European Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.
The success of the Beijing Gala 2024 would not have been possible without the generous support of our partners. Their contributions ensured a memorable evening for all attendees.
